EDATA Mobile Trading Leader - EMTL is an SMS based solution that provides brokerage information and services online to handheld devices using the latest Internet technologies.

EDATA provides customers with three high performance modules:

EDATA Mobile Trading Leader Offline mode: Is a java application; an end-user mobile device software that communicates with a dedicated server via SMS messaging. Servers on the other end pulls the proper response from the brokerage system, and composes an SMS containing the response and sends it back to the end user’s mobile device as a normal SMS message. Since the stock information on this application is offline, the stock list of the market is not updated.

EDATA Mobile Trading Leader 2WaySMS mode: End users who do not have JAVA enabled handheld devices can simply request the trading functions using simple text messaging (SMS). Certain SMS templates should be used to send the trading functions in order to be processed correctly by the receiving server.

Once the end user (trader) sends the SMS message to the dedicated short code of the service, the service will parse the incoming message and validate its format, then pull the proper response for the trading function from brokerage system, then it will compose proper SMS message, and finally send response SMS message to trader (end user).

EDATA Mobile Trading Leader Online mode: Is a customizable end-to-end mobile financial solution that serves most of the trading orders between the traders and their brokerage houses through the following services:
Accepting trading and any financial requests from their traders.
Tracking trading requests from traders.
Integrating with multiple stock exchange markets.
Sending real-time alerts and notifications to traders on any financial event.


Brokerage house traders on the other end will have a mobile application on their handheld devices.

Mobile application has many features such as: It is very rich in graphical user components allowing traders to easily manage their requests, connected to a special server in real-time mode allowing traders to have a real-time view on their positions status, and it carries all required trading features allowing traders to view their portfolios with their positions.
