DB Optimizer XE2 Pro empowers DBAs and developers to eliminate performance bottlenecks by visually profiling key metrics inside the database (CPU, I/O, wait times), relating resource utilization to specific queries, and enabling the visually tuning of problematic SQL using Visual SQL Tuning (VST). VST diagrams display indexes and constraints on tables and views, as well as the joins used in a SQL statement, revealing opportunities to further tune the SQL or schema and enhance overall database performance.

Continuous profiling monitors performance within a configurable span of time to help verify the effects of tuned statements. DB Optimizer XE2 Pro comes complete with support for all major databases including IBM® DB2® for LUW, Microsoft® SQL Server, Oracle®, and Sybase®.
